Drama After School Clubs

Andrea Cabrera Luna: Artistic Director, Facilitator, Theatre Maker. Bio
At Edinburgh Steiner School, Andrea has co-directed Extremism, an Upper School Drama Club production in 2024.
James Cumming Short Biography:
A Waldorf-educated scholar with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting, industry experience in film and theatre, as well as directing roles in a school setting. Performing himself in school productions – Shepherds’ Play (2023), An Ideal Husband (2016), Fiddler on the Roof (2016), The Importance of Being Earnest (2015) – (as well as a wealth of undergraduate and professional credits), James brings a skillset in both acting and teaching children and young people to the Clubs. He has worked with Steiner pupils for several years, first as the former After School Club Leader, joining our teaching faculty as a Support Teacher to Class 1 in August 2023.
In addition to his acting roles, James has recently co-directed several ESS Class plays, including:

- The Servant of Two Masters (Class 7, 2023)
- Robin Hood (Class 6, 2023)
- Much Ado About Nothing (Class 8, 2023)
- Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (Class 12, 2023)
- Extremism (Upper School Drama Club, 2024)
- A Medley of Shakespeare (Class 7, 2024)
The pupils will be working together in small groups. The process of accepting each other’s different ideas and ways of expressing those will lead to a very creative and fun time spent together.
