St Michael Play by Classes 2 – 4

Each year, as part of the School’s Michaelmas Festival, current Classes 2 – 4 come together to put on a play, in which a group of villagers, with the help of St Michael, tame a fiery dragon.

Traditionally, Class 2 are the gnomes and meteorites; Class 3 pupils depict the dragon, staying as a unified ‘body’; and Class 4 are the villagers.

There is limited seating (if any) in the School Hall, as pupils from Classes 1 – 12 attend the assembly and play alongside many teachers and ESS staff. Space is dependent on the current school roll; and ordinarily Classes 2, 3 and 4 families would be invited through the school gates to join in the festivities and watch their child in the play. Please contact the School Office on 0131 337 3410 if you would like to attend: 0131 337 3410
