As the Christmas Market efforts are tallied up, Advent begins and the School embarks on a busy festive December, starting with the Spiral of Light.

Kindergarten children were welcomed onto campus on Sunday evening for a Spiral of Light celebration in the School Hall.

First Light of Advent For Classes 1 – 12

Class 1 pupils with their Class 12 buddies walked the Advent Spiral on Monday (reel below – Class 8 pupil Heidi on the lyre). Classes 2, 3, 4 and 5 each had their turn later in the morning.

We find ourselves entering the darkest time of the year, needing to kindle our inner light, like a lantern in the darkness. The twelve class cohorts in the school will begin each December morning lighting the beeswax candle they hand-dipped in preparation for Advent.
