Do you have set dates for new pupil applications?

No. Applications are welcome at any time during the year, including holiday time.

APPLICATION

When an application form is received for pupils of the age for Lower School and Upper School, a decision will be made as to whether a place is available. If a place is available, a date for an interview (lasting about an hour) will be offered.

INTERVIEW

The interview panel will normally consist of the Class Teacher or Class Guardian for the year group in which a place might be offered, and another teacher or member of the Pupil Support Department. The interview is an opportunity to get to know the applicant and their family, including their educational background. The interview panel may also ask the applicant to demonstrate their drawing, maths and English skills, to estimate their level. However, there is no ‘pass/fail’ entry test or ability assessment which determines the outcome of the application. There is only really one criterion for acceptance: will your child benefit from our education?

School OPEN TOUR

Prospective pupils and parents can visit the school. Our ‘in action’ Open Tours run one Friday each month during term time. Book
