If I Ruled Scotland
September 13 2017
The Hunter Foundation, established by entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir Tom Hunter, invited pupils from Scottish schools to write about what they would change ‘if they ruled Scotland’.
The prize was a table at a business dinner with President Barack Obama during his trip to Scotland earlier this year.
The entries, which come from every corner of Scotland, have been collated into a free to download book that showcases the views of young people on topics as diverse as education, equality, healthcare and international aid.
We’re delighted that Class 12 pupil Lauren Brady’s wonderful essay has been included.
