A selection of the completed Class 8 Projects:
We were lucky enough to watch the spectacular solar eclipse this morning. A big thank you to Andrew Phethean, our Class 7 teacher, for organising the equipment so we could all make the most of this special event!
A big thank you to everyone who has donated to Comic Relief this year. Class 4 has announced that the school raised £191.63 from pupils’ donations on Red Nose Day last Friday. A special mention to Benjamin Maclean in Class 1 who made an additional £5 selling jokes, and James Cumming in Class 11 who raised an astounding £1,120.00 for dressing up as Cinderella – well done!

"An exploration of the different alternative education options available in Scotland, through the stories of parents and pupils who have "been there and done that". At a time when the dominant direction in education is towards the standardisation and regulation of schools, we meet the individuals and visit the institutions that are following the beat of a different drum."
"This years Christmas Market was a celebration of cultural diversity and community spirit. Lots of families from different parts of the world attend our school and one thing that we in the Steering group thought is an outstanding strength in our school community is exactly that: the strong community spirit. We hope to have achieved both. We introduced different ethnic elements in our decoration theme as well as offering 'street food' from different parts of the world, as prepared so amazingly by Ian Wilson and other parents. This in combination with a 'cantina style' seating arrangement in the hall did give it a more 'joint event feeling'.
