Class 2 pupils are creating a dyer’s garden. This week they have sown the seeds of plants such as camomile, weld and woad, which will be used next session to dye wool.
Pupils celebrated International Mother Earth Day with art and creative writing.
Visiting pupils were so inspired by their recent trip to Loch Lomond that they wrote a short group poem about the waterfall at Inversnaid.
Class 6 have been studying Peoples of the World as a Main Lesson and produced some wonderful poetry and illustrations.
The Fiddler on the Roof was a wonderful cross-school production, with pupils from Class 5 to Class 12.
Class 3 created model houses as part of their main lesson on house building.
The brief for Class 12's final architecture project was to design a facility for Maggie's Centres. Maggie's Centres support people with cancer and their family and friends.
